There are 3 other Seattle Coffee Houses in Thunder Bay besides this location.
All of them are in different types of buildings and have their own character.
I like the big sofas and booths in the Arthur Street one.
They do some lite food, such as tomatoe and cheese bagels.
They have great coffee's. The cold drinks are super, and they let you choose your own syrup and make your own combinations of shakes. My favourite was banana and butterscotch.
They are a bit more intimate than a starbucks. -

This is a lovely little spot that has come to be one of my favourites. The drinks are delicious, the baking is scrumptious, and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy, it's a great place to go for a date, study, catch up with a friend, etc. I would take this place over a Tims any day.

This cafe is the last vestige of a former local coffeehouse empire that dominated Thunder Bay's more sophisticated palates for more than a decade with four full scale locations and one grocery store location. While now just a shadow of its former glory (gone are branded mugs and takeaway), this coffee house still offers a great menu and even better atmosphere as well as two fireplaces for those cold northern winters. Their baked goods include cookies, muffins and an excellent selection of fresh cheesecakes. Still, there is little to no negative comments about this northern gem that shaped at least two generations of Thunder Bayans.

Great space. But the slowest service imaginable. Take starbucks, double the time, double it again and you're at half the time for these guys to make a latte. The coffee and food are also decidedly mediocre.

Crappy tired old coffee house , the last of the original three . All the booths filled with one student and his/ her laptop and home work, so take the seat around back by the toilet
